Omar Armenteros
Omar Armenteros is the Founder and CEO of VirtuWorks, a Miami-based Managed Service Provider he co-founded in 1994 (originally as GISnet) with lifelong friend Matt Mehler. Starting at age 17 after dropping out of high school, Omar built the company from a break-fix operation into a thriving IT services firm approaching $13 million in annual revenue, supporting roughly 700–800 clients with approximately 500 under managed service agreements.
A pioneer in the MSP space, he has championed a software-first, SaaS-oriented approach for nearly two decades - developing proprietary tools, including a homegrown RMM and multi-tenant platforms - focused on user-centric standardization, automation, rapid onboarding, and reducing technician workload to deliver reliable, proactive IT that makes technology nearly invisible to clients.
